IMEI Check
Check Android Country of Origin and Warranty by Brand
Huawei, Honor, Oppo, OnePlus, Realme, Vivo, iQOO, Nothing, Tecno, Infinix, Itel, Motorola and the laptop brands each expose their own record. This page maps brand to check.

Android is not one database. Each manufacturer exposes a different subset of data, and the region field is often the most valuable part: an international phone is frequently a regional variant with different bands, different warranty coverage, and occasionally a carrier lock nobody mentioned.
Brand to check type
- Huawei and Honor: warranty, country and carrier in one record.
- Oppo, OnePlus and Realme: warranty, country and replacement status, with a picture on the premium tier.
- Vivo and iQOO: warranty and country, useful before importing.
- Nothing: warranty check with a device picture.
- Tecno, Infinix and Itel: warranty check, relevant across African and South Asian markets where these brands dominate.
- Motorola: carrier, country and software version, plus a pro variant for warranty.
- Alcatel, ZTE, Doogee, Lenovo, Asus and Acer: warranty, country and MAC checks per brand.
- Laptops: HP and Dell model and warranty checks by serial, for shops that also trade laptops.
Note
If a brand is not listed, the generic warranty-style checks and the GSMA blacklist check still work on the IMEI. Ask support before ordering a brand-specific service. What the country field buys you
- Band support: an Indian or Chinese variant may miss the LTE and 5G bands your local network uses.
- Warranty validity: manufacturer warranties are frequently region-bound.
- Carrier lock: regional variants sold through carriers are often SIM-locked, which most listings do not state.
- Resale value: a mismatched variant is worth less than a local one, and buyers know it.
Ordering
- 1Identify the brand from the boot screen or the model number, not the case.
- 2Pick the brand-specific check.
- 3For purchasing decisions, add a GSMA blacklist check — brand records rarely include it.
- 4Store the raw output with the device record.

Frequently asked questions
Can I check an Android IMEI without the brand?
Yes — a TAC lookup returns the brand and model from the IMEI prefix. Use that, then buy the brand-specific check.
Do these checks show carrier locks?
Some do and some do not. Motorola, Huawei and Honor include carrier data; others focus on warranty and region. Run a separate carrier check when the device may be locked.
Are laptop checks on the same platform?
Yes — HP and Dell checks accept the serial number and return model and warranty data.
