iPhone Unlock
Unlock a Swisscom, Sunrise or Salt iPhone
Swiss carriers release devices after the contract ends, and Sunrise has an extra not-found listing for records the standard channel misses.
Last reviewed 2026-10-26
Switzerland has three main carriers and a high share of premium devices, which makes it a steady source of used iPhones. Each carrier has its own listing, and Sunrise in particular has a not-found fallback.
Listings
- Sunrise: an out-of-contract all-iPhone listing plus a not-found listing for records the standard channel cannot locate.
- Salt Mobile: an iPhone listing of its own.
- Swisscom: covered through the combined Swiss carrier listing, alongside Orange-era and Sunrise records.
Note
A not-found result on a Swiss device does not mean the device is lost or stolen — it often means the record was never migrated after a carrier merger. The fallback listing exists for exactly that.Ordering
- 1Confirm the carrier with a SIM lock check.
- 2If the standard Swiss listing returns not-found, move to the Sunrise not-found listing rather than rebuying the same product.
- 3Confirm the device is not blacklisted.
- 4Test with a foreign SIM after completion.

Frequently asked questions
What does not found mean for a Swiss device?
The carrier record could not be located by the standard channel. A dedicated not-found listing is usually able to process it.
Can a Swisscom phone be used in the EU after unlock?
Yes, once released the device accepts any SIM.
Is Salt the same as Orange Switzerland?
Salt is the rebrand of Orange Switzerland. Old Orange CH records may still appear on device checks.
